Liga of Quitó was consecrated champion of the 2009 "Recopa" (Cup Winners' Cup), after defeating Inter of Porto Alegre by 3-0 in the second final disputed in Ecuador and thus added its second international laurel, after the consecration in the 2008 Libertadores Cup.
